Please allow 1-2 business days for us to process your order, we fulfil all of your orders directly from our store. At this time, we only ship within the UK, please contact us for a bespoke quote for shipping to Europe or overseas.

In-store collection

If you are local to us, you are more than welcome to collect your order in store, please pick the in-store collection option at checkout. In most cases, your order will be ready for pick-up within 24 hours, and you will receive an email notification when your order is ready.

Shipping & lead times

Standard UK delivery is £4.95.

We offer FREE UK delivery for orders over £45.

We use Royal Mail, DHL and UPS for our UK deliveries depending on the size and weight of the parcel.

We try to completely avoid plastic packaging and often recycle boxes, packaging and wrapping sent by our suppliers. If you happen to have a bit of plastic protection inside your parcel, you can sleep soundly knowing it has been reused. Our other packaging is either recycled, recyclable or both.

UK DELIVERY

Please estimate 2-5 working days for your parcel to arrive once shipped. You will receive a notification once your order is on the way.

CHANNEL ISLANDS DELIVERY

Please estimate 3-10 working days for arrival. While the Channel Islands are part of the UK, goods may still be liable for Customs duties and VAT in accordance with Channel Islands import rules.

RETURN POLICY

We hope you love your new pieces but if you wish to return your order you can do so within 14 days of receiving your item.

Please email us at hello@homeatfirstsight.co.uk to let us know you are sending your item back. Return postage is at customer's own cost, the item should be sent unused and send back in the original packaging. 

Please allow 14 working days for the refund to reach your account. Please note we are not able to refund the delivery cost.

** Please note that vintage, sale and made to order items are not refundable so please make sure to read the description and see pictures before placing the order **

If your item arrives broken or faulty, please contact us at hello@homeatfirstsight.co.uk within 24 hours of receiving the item, with your order number and a picture of the damage and we will arrange for the replacement or refund.

RUGS

Our rugs can be returned for a full refund within 14 days of delivery date.

In order to be eligible for a return, your original item MUST be in new condition and returned without:

•Damage or stains.

•Dirt or grass stains

•Signs of wear, washing, or improper care

•Damage or stains.

•Pet hair or fur

All returned items are thoroughly inspected, and any item(s) returned in a condition deemed as no longer sellable will not be refunded.

Note: Returned items must be shipped back in the original packaging, or similar packaging that will prevent item from damage whilst in transport.

Customer is responsible for the cost and risk of returning the item to us, except in the case of faulty items.

Vintage homeware pieces

All vintage pieces are one-of-a-kind items and might show some signs of use and imperfections due to age - those imperfections are not considered defective. Please make sure you are happy with the condition before going ahead. Please refer to pictures and descriptions for more details.

Made to order pieces

We are unable to cancel or refund custom and made to order pieces for any reason. We make each product to order and process payment at the time we receive the order. Orders are submitted to production after authorization and cannot be cancelled, modified, or changed.

Sale & imperfect items

Please make sure you are happy with the condition before going ahead. Please refer to pictures and descriptions for more details.

Made to order artwork cannot be cancelled, returned or exchanged. Please inspect your pieces upon arrival and notify us of any damage or missing items within 48 hours, so we will quickly process a replacement of the same piece.

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within 24 hours with your order number and pictures at hello@homeatfirstsight.co.uk  if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive a wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and rectify.
